Buyers
Important Steps for Home Buyers
Buying Process:
* Assess your credit and finances
* Interview Lenders to gain knowledge of funding programs that you qualify for.
* Request a Pre-approval letter from your Lender
* Assess your wants and needs for a new home
* Contact Homequest Real Estate to advocate for you
* Start shopping for you new home
Homequest Real Estate will automatically set you up to receive personalized MLS listings of homes that match your criteria. These listings will be sent to you daily via email with the latest listing information. We will also provide you with a FREE Buyer’s Toolbox Kit. This free reference guide provides information and tools for you to utilize, helping you find the right home.
When your offer is accepted by the Seller, Homequest Real Estate recommends that you hire a qualified Home Inspector for your protection. A Home Inspector gives the buyer more detailed information about the overall condition of the home prior to the purchase. He/she will evaluate the physical condition, structure, construction and mechanical systems. The Home Inspector will identify items that need to be repaired or replaced and they will estimate the remaining useful life of the major systems, equipment, structure and finishes. This process allows us to sometimes re-negotiate repairs at the Sellers expense or even the agreed sale price before we go to the closing table.
Because New Hampshire is known as the Granite State, we always recommend that you have a Radon test for air and water at the time of the home inspection. Some Government programs require these test to be done .. For more information about Radon go to: www.des.nh.gov
The process of buying a home is not as simple as it may seem. Homequest Real Estate is dedicated to our client/customers needs and won’t stop working until you are completely satisfied. We believe in straight forward, honest communication and would be honored to represent you to make your transaction a pleasant and stress free one.
